Fees, Payment, and Cancellation Policy

2024 FEE SCHEDULE (effective April 2024)

All services are rendered by a registered or candidate register psychologist unless otherwise specified. In-person and virtual services are billed at the same rate. Rates are scheduled to increase 2% annually, effective January 1.

To create a secure and seamless payment experience, all clients of Coastal Psychology are requested to add their credit card or bank account details to their Client Portal. The fee for the psychological service will be charged at the end of each appointment and a receipt will be issued immediately. We accept all major credit/debit cards and bank transfers.

Psychological services rendered by a registered psychologist are covered by most private health insurance plans. Coastal Psychology does not offer direct billing to insurance companies. Contact your insurance provider to gain more information regarding your coverage limits and reimbursement procedures. Fees paid for psychological services are HST-exempt and are a tax-deductible medical expense.

Twenty-four hours noticed is required for cancellations. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are subject to the full fee.
