All services are rendered by a registered or candidate register psychologist unless otherwise specified. In-person and virtual services are billed at the same rate.

 

To create a secure and seamless payment experience, all clients of Coastal Psychology are requested to add their credit card details to their Client Portal. The fee for the psychological service will be charged at the end of each appointment and a receipt will be issued immediately. ​

 

Deposits for assessments are required at least 7 days prior to the assessment appointment.

Many private health insurance plans provide coverage for psychological services. Coverage varies by plan and provider, so clients are encouraged to confirm their coverage and reimbursement requirements directly with their insurer. Coastal Psychology does not offer direct billing to insurance companies.

 

Fees paid for psychological services are HST-exempt and are a tax-deductible medical expense.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are subject to the full fee.

 

Rates are scheduled to increase 2% annually, effective January 1.
